A concert full of hits
Burt Bacharach was one of the most famous songwriters of his time, whose influence on popular music is immeasurable.
More than 1,000 artists have recorded Bacharach's compositions, and he has also composed music for theater and film. Bacharach's pen includes the songs I Say A Little Prayer, Walk On By and What The World Needs Now Is Love.
In addition, together with his credited lyricist Hal David, he made numerous movie tunes, such as the songs What's New, Pussycat and Alfie and The Look Of Love made famous by Dusty Springfield.
In the concert, Bacharach's productions will be performed by the teachers of Pop&Jazz from the music college of Porvoo.
