Porvoon Valot & Porvoo Jazz Club: Mimie Moore Jazz Edition

Porvoo Jazz Club is participating in the Porvoo Valot event for the second time. This time the lights are designed and implemented by Porvoo's Hakalight & Taavi Paananen! Mimie Moore is a surprising acoustic trio of three women (Elina Brooks, Maija Kurki & Saana Trygg-Nevanlinna). In Mimie Moore's works, one wildly jumps between moods, without neglecting even corny tones, when juicy stemma songs thunder with all degrees of humor and seriousness. The band's unique, rootsy sound with its songs, bucket basses, accordions and clothe boards brings a touch of the old world to the new music.
